Компанія Аkella оголосила про відправлення до друку локалізованої версії рольового проекту Two Worlds. Видання містить у собі патч 1.2.
Гра повинна надійти в продаж через два тижні.

Компанія JoWood и студія Piranha Bytes більше не будуть співпрацювати разом. Розроблювачі серії Gothic з найпершої її серії, німецька студія Piranha Bytes, заявила про припинення відносин з видавничою компанією JoWood Productions Software. У свою чергу видавець, що володіє правами на IP, відзначив, що шукає нову девелоперскую студію, що узялася б за розробку Gothic 4. Реліз гри планується на РС і консолях наступного покоління.
За версією Piranha Bytes, що належить компанії Pluto 13, непереборні розбіжності виникли в ході переговорів про майбутнє серії Gothic, які велися з видавцем ще з листопада минулого року.
Що буде далі франчайзом, не зовсім ясно, але очевидно чергового патчу для Gothic 3 ми так і не побачимо.

Не знаю як ви, а я починаю хвилюватись.

Відразу ж після появи нового концепт арту з Fallout 3, на сайті NMA виявили, що цей концепт - реальна фотографія з Googie Architecture Online. Craig Mullins з Bethsoft дає пояснення цього факту.

So, beyond mind-numbing quests and graphics that leave you wondering what might have been, what other lessons has Dawn of Magic not learned from earlier games in the genre? Well there’s combat. I never found anything wrong with being able to hold a mouse button down over an enemy and having my guy attack him until one of us was dead. Selecting a target and then having to repeatedly click like a mad man just seems like a waste of energy to me, especially when guiding your character around is achieved by much the same mechanic. I’m not saying that this is one of the most infuriating systems that I’ve played for ages but …well, actually yes, perhaps I am saying that. And then having attacks and magic missing for no apparent reason? I’m no longer even going to ask what that’s about. 

Вчора JoWooD офіційно анонсувала Gothic 4. Сподіваюсь четверта частина буде схожа на початок серії.

Liezen, Austria, May 22nd 2007; JoWooD confirms having been in promising negotiatons for the development of Gothic 4 on PC and console with various prospective development studios. Releasing Gothic 4 on current-gen console is the next logical step for the Publisher’s strategy. JoWooD puts most of its focus on high quality standards as well as reacting to the communities comments and requests for the sequel to its flag-ship title.

Since Pluto 13 and JoWooD have not come to terms regarding the development of Gothic 4, the collaboration has come to an end.
